Kerio Personal Firewall

Right-click and select Copy Shortcut to link to this paragraph   Installing Incredible Charts

When you install Incredible Charts, you should receive a Starting Application or Outgoing Connection alert:

  • Check the box alongside Create a rule for this communication and don't ask me again
  • Click the Permit button

If you wish to customize your firewall settings, you will need to create permission for outgoing TCP connection to the following addresses:

  • https://66.70.45.174    Port 443
  • http://66.70.45.174      Port 80
  • http://208.70.245.30        Port 80
  • http://195.92.253.137  Port 80

When you install Incredible Charts, on earlier Kerio versions the alert may look like this:

  • Check the box alongside Create appropriate filter rule and don't ask me again
  • Click the Permit button

Right-click and select Copy Shortcut to link to this paragraph   Disabling Kerio Personal Firewall

If you do not receive an alert, you will need to temporarily disable your firewall to install Incredible Charts:

  • Right-click the Kerio icon on the Systray
  • Select Disable Firewall

  • On older versions there is no Disable option:
    select Administration, clear the check box next to Firewall Enabled and click OK.
  • Remember to restart the firewall after testing

When Incredible Charts Live Update updates to a new version, you will receive a similar alert:

  • Check the box alongside Create a rule for this communication and don't ask me again
  • Click Permit to allow the new version to send and receive data.

Right-click and select Copy Shortcut to link to this paragraph   No Alerts

If you do not receive alerts for the install or an update of Incredible Charts:

  • Open Kerio Personal Firewall and select the System Security button
  • Find Incredible Charts on the Applications tab
  • The settings should be:
    • Starting - Permit
      Modifying - Ask
      Launching other - Ask
  • Click on an action if you want to change it.

Right-click and select Copy Shortcut to link to this paragraph   Manually creating permission to access the Internet

If Incredible Charts works when your firewall is disabled but not when it is active, you may need to adjust the existing firewall permissions:

  1. Open Kerio Personal Firewall and select the Network Security button
  2. Select the Applications tab
  3. Select Incredible Charts on the list
  4. Click the Edit button

  1. Select Permit for both Outgoing connections
  2. Select Ask for both Incoming connections
  3. We recommend that you check the Log box (to log all connections)
    but do not check the Alert box (which would alert you every time that a connection is made)
  4. Click OK

Alternatively, select the Remove button (in place of Step 4). 
Then reset the rule when you next connect to Incredible Charts - at the connection alert.

For earlier versions of Kerio Personal Firewall:

  • Right-click the Kerio icon in the System Tray
  • Select Administration
  • Click the Advanced button
  • Select existing rules relating to Incredible Charts and click the Delete button
  • Click Apply and OK when completed
  • Reset the rules when you next connect to Incredible Charts - at the connection alert
